Skálar - Hrollaugsstaðir

An old main trail is taken fram Skálar to Hrolllaugsstaðir, with a superb view to maountains along Iceland´s east coast. Seals and whales can often be seen in the bay, and there is a little cemetery by thi Skálabjarg cliff, just west of Skálar.
The hike is around 13 km and the trail is marked.  Information signs can be found on both ends of the trail, at Hrolllaugsstaðir and Skálar.
