Skeggjastaðakirkja
Skeggjastaðakirkja is the oldest church in East Iceland. It was built in the year 1845, 175 years ago. The church is located at Skeggjastaðir farm on Langanesströnd, near Bakkafjörður. The wood that was used to build the church is driftwood from Langanes. The pulpit in the church is danish and from the early 18th century.
